This Garlic Lovers’ Spaghetti is quick and easy to make, packed with ultra-garlicky Italian flavors, and absolutely delicious.

After sharing my favorite chicken Parmesan earlier this week, I couldn’t resist following up with my go-to spaghetti. I love pasta as a comforting, simple meal, and this garlic-forward version is the one I make whenever that craving hits.
It’s fast to prepare, relies on ingredients I almost always have in the kitchen, and finishes in the time it takes to boil and cook the pasta. It pairs well with a protein or vegetables on the side, and the sauce is rich with butter and generous amounts of garlic. If you’re a garlic lover, this will likely become a regular in your rotation.

The method is straightforward. While your pasta water heats, chop a large head of garlic — the more the merrier for this dish (roughly 12 cloves per pound of pasta is a good guideline). Melt butter in a pan, sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add white wine, Italian seasoning, and a touch of crushed red pepper. Let the mixture simmer briefly to meld the flavors and reduce a little.

When the pasta is cooked, drain it and toss it with the garlic-butter mixture. Finish with freshly grated Parmesan, extra black pepper, and more crushed red pepper if you like heat. If you prefer not to cook with wine, omit it and add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce when you combine everything.

Don’t be afraid to use plenty of garlic — it’s the star here. Serve immediately and enjoy. I’ll be back with a healthier, kale-forward recipe later in the week, but for now: comfort food wins.
