Visit my other site, For The Wing, for all things chicken-wing!
I often make my own chicken wing sauces, but sometimes a bottled sauce is the easiest option. I set out to try wing sauces from the major grocery chains in my area — Walmart, Meijer, and Kroger — and so far I’ve been impressed. One standout is the Great Value Parmesan Garlic wing sauce. It’s very thick, so it clings to the wings, and the Parmesan and garlic flavors are bold and well balanced.

This sauce isn’t only for wings. I like to roast or grill a chicken breast, slice or chop it, and toss the pieces with a little of this sauce to make a creamy Parmesan-garlic chicken for salads or sandwiches. It adds instant flavor with very little effort.
If you refrigerate an opened bottle, bring it to room temperature before tossing with hot wings. Let the sauce sit on the counter for about 30 minutes so you don’t cool freshly cooked wings with a cold sauce.
Also try the Great Value Asian Sweet Chili wing sauce for a sweeter, tangy option.
