Light and Fluffy Orange Gelatin Salad Recipe

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Pour 1 cup hot water into a glass measuring cup and heat to boiling in the microwave (about 2–3 minutes). Add two 3-ounce packages of orange gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.

  1. Add 1 cup crushed ice and stir until the ice melts. Chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes, or until the mixture reaches the consistency of thick pudding.

  1. In a large bowl, combine 8 cups miniature marshmallows, two 15-ounce cans drained mandarin oranges, and one 20-ounce can crushed pineapple (undrained).

  1. Sprinkle a 5.1-ounce box of instant vanilla pudding into the bowl. Add one 12-ounce container of thawed Cool Whip and stir until combined.

  1. Retrieve the chilled orange gelatin and fold it into the large bowl. Stir gently to combine everything.

Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour and up to 12 hours to set and let flavors meld. Serve chilled.
